eStar launches industry-leading maternity pay as part of renewed benefits offering

eStar, the Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van franchise partner in the North West and North Wales, is launching a raft of new rewards and benefits for its team in 2023, including industry-leading maternity pay.

Designed to attract even more women to the business, eStar is offering what it believes is sector-leading maternity pay, consisting of three months full pay and two months half pay, for colleagues that have been with the business for at least two years. There is also two weeks full paternity pay, and a baby gift pack to welcome the new arrival.

The new initiatives, which will be rolled out on a quarterly basis this year, will also include additional annual leave days, additional sick pay, additional compassionate leave including for pet bereavement, charity leave days for a paid day off to support a good cause, a cycle to work scheme, free fresh fruit bowls in all areas, and an employee of the month financial reward. These are in addition to the usual benefits such as a welcome pack for new starters, team social events led by a sports and social committee, free eye tests, recommend a friend bonus, free parking at all sites, free tea and coffee at all sites, and seasonal gifts such as Easter eggs and Christmas vouchers.

Designed to truly reward the hard work of colleagues, eStar has also completely rewritten its bonus model to ensure all 300+ members of the team benefit from the Company’s performance.
